Mechanical conveyors are ideal for transporting powders and bulk materials. Such materials are conventional ingredients or products of processes in such areas as solid fuel power and heating plants (coal, peat, biomass, sawdust, wood chips).

Drag chain conveyors

We offer a wide range of high-performance chain scraper conveyors to transport various types of powders and bulk solids. These conveyors are suitable for transportation of ash, lime and solid fuels. An important feature is to keep the effective speed of the material, which ensures high reliability and efficiency. Forged chain conveyors are essential when transporting abrasive materials or when operating at high temperatures (up to 600 º C). Forged chain conveyors are usually made of hardened steel with 20% Mn and 5% Cr or tempered steel containing 27% Mn and 5% CrB (boron steel). In special cases, the links and pins are made of hardened stainless steel or heat-resistant steel.


There are three main types of plate scraper chain conveyors:

T-shaped plate is suitable for horizontal movement, and is used in pipelines up to 630 mm wide.

P-shaped plates are used for inclined or vertical movement up to an angle of inclination of 90 degrees.

I-shaped plate is a two-row plate used in wide conveyors from 500 to 1200 mm .   


Performance and Capacity                                                    

The operating capacity range of drag chain conveyors lies between 1 to 600 m ³ / h. Performance depends on the density of the transported material and the required transportation distance.

Screw conveyors

Screw conveyors can also be used in the energy sector, provided that the conveyor length does not exceed 12 m. Existing conveyors are cooled to reduce the temperature of the fly ash transported from the filter scrubbers. Screw conveyor consists of five main elements:   



• Frame
• Screw mechanism
• Bearing housing and seal
• Driving unit
• Inspection and service hatches


Conveyor frame can be U-shaped or tubular, depending on the area of use. The frames can be constructed of carbon steel or acid-proofed stainless steel. Connections to other equipment or processes are also made of the same material. Screw mechanisms can be made of carbon steel, stainless or acid-resistant steel. Screw shafts have a pipe-like coating of acid-resistant stainless steel. Rotating spirals are welded onto the pipe-like coating of the shaft.

Slag crushers        


Crushers are used for crushing coarse lump materials. There are two types of crushers: rotor and roller types. Rotor crushers are used for primary crushing, and roller crushers are used for the secondary crushing, after which the material is suitable for transport pneumatically. Typical materials that are subject to fragmentation - slag waste heat recovery, clumps of dust and other materials lumps that are formed during the process. Performance data crushers up to 30 t / h In serial installation they can process the material with pieces up to 300 mm to obtain an output fraction of no more than 5 x 5 mm. If necessary, may crushers cooling water, compressed air or steam. 

Unloading stations

There are two types of unloading stations: with dry or wet unloading devices. Both discharge systems are located under the bottom section of the storage silo.



Wet handling devices are used to load bulk material from the silo into open trucks. Dry handling units are designed for loading closed containers and tanks. At the bottom of the silo are fluidizing panels and slides that facilitate unloading.



Dust-free Loading Spout


A dustless loading spout is used when loadingopen and closed trucks and big bags. Load performance can be up to 100 t / h. Guide cones inside the sleeves are made of stainless steel. The sleeve is easily raised and lowered by ropes. The housing cover is made of steel. In the frame tube is a winding device for the removal of dust. It is equipped with a butterfly valve with a pneumatic actuator.

Transport Systems for Bulk Material 

Belt Conveyors 

Conveyor belts are among the most widely used transport systems for bulk materials due to their simplicity and low cost of construction. Thanks to their high reliability and easy of use, belt conveyors are the primary means of transporting bulk materials.  












Long distance conveyor belts are one of the varieties. They differ not only in length, but also the ability to change the direction of the belt, at an angle, up or down, as well as with the given configuration of the terrain. To date, the construction of the longest conveyor line is about 20km.

  • Width from 500 to 3200 mm
  • Maximum angle from 17 to 20 degrees, depending on flow and viscosity of the            material transported
  • Capacity of up to 40t /hr
  • Belt speed of 15m /second


Pipe Conveyors



The construction of the pipe conveyor is similar to the conventional through conveyors, namely they consist of a drive station with a drum drive and a return drive with a return drum and tensioning system. They vary in shape and construction from the through belt conveyor. The pipe conveyor has a bending zone in which the upper belt is formed into a tubular shape and the bottom belt returns to original shape.  The part of the conveyor route along which the belt is in the tubular form  may have horizontal or vertical bends, as well as a spatial combination.

The advantages of tubular conveyors:

•Closed transportation inside the tube eliminates rash material that has a positive effect on the environment and ecology.

•The use of a curved paths eliminates the need for complex transportation systems conveyors

•The opportunity to increase the angle of inclination of the conveyor by approximately 50% due to the transportation of the material within a closed pipe.

Vertical Conveyor Belt




The idea of transport in this type of conveyor is based on a special belt. This belt is made of a base belt (similar to that of through conveyors), with two sidewalls and cleats between which are buckets, in which material is transported. The second type of belt used in this type of belt conveyor is the pocket belt consisting of a base belt with attached pockets in which material is transported.

These conveyors can lift material vertically to great heights and at different angles, occupying relatively little space. They require much less energy and are less noisy compared to traditional bucket conveyors.
